Sur le Sujet du Mademoiselle Phacade
Phacade is not so much an outlet for curating images as much as it is a symptom of deeper pathologies rooted in the indeterminate relationship between the “outer” and the “inner” surfaces. It is a place where I spew my thought vomit about all “surfaces,” my philosophical angst, androgynous ideals, fashion scans, political gripes, corporeal conjectures, pretty-things-ooglings, and personal ephemera. All in all, Phacade is a pathological sanctuary for me, but you are welcome to join in too.
When I am not decorating the wallpaper of les interwebz, I am a Philosophy and Biology double major with ambitions for medical school in the North Eastern United States. I’m also a big blue eyed vegan, Negative Utilitarian, hoping-for-the-apocolyspe pessimist, ex-convict from the seductions of modern fashion, Victorian era-fetishist, minimalist, cartoonist, feminist, anime enthusiast, writer, amateur film fanatic, perfectionist and an introvert. I often pull myself away from Tumblr for months at a time due to the demands of school, but I always come back to pathologically upload my head to my blog to serve as a scatter-shot remembrance of my past thoughts and ideals.
So, my dear tumblrweeds, I say “bonjour” to all of you, and hope that you enjoy the chaos of my head within the elegant Phacade-ian halls of intertextual/sexual/lexical/celestial heaven.
