I’m doing this because it’s the only way I can get to where all of this is forgotten and at the same time I can lessen suffering. Notice I don’t say “help people.” There is something so bright-and-shiny and overdone about that phrase that makes me cringe. It doesn’t understand how sad life is in its utterance.
I am here to lessen suffering, however ego-less or ego-full a person is, and to get there I have to be distinguished.
